Payment

A 50% deposit is required upon rental confirmation. The remainder must be paid within 30 days before departure. For bookings made after this 30 day period total payment is required.

Security deposit

The amount will depend on the type of boat rented and may be left in cash or traveller’s cheques and will be returned once the boat has been checked at your final destination. A security deposit is necessary in order to cover possible damage to boat and/or equipment or contract infringements not covered by insurance.

Cancellation policy

The following penalties apply: Cancellation more than 30 days before departure – 50% rental charge. Cancellation fewer than 30 days before departure – 100% rental charge. An insurance policy would cover the risk of cancellation.

Insurance

All boats are covered by third party insurance Personal property is not included. A separate policy is available on request covering accident and illness and subsequent transport costs.

Number of passengers

Maximum number of passengers will be stipulated in the contract.
